Overlooking the lake from Toscolano to Riva
Join us on this wonderful multi-day hiking tour along the west coast of Lake Garda and be amazed by Italy's largest lake!
Thanks to the mild climate of the lake, backpacking for several days is a great choice to be active and healthy, immersed in the fantastic Mediterranean nature of Lake Garda.
This tour is ideal for those who want to reach the many peaks overlooking the lake and the many beautiful villages that surround it: Gargnano, Limone, Toscolano-Maderno, Pregasina, Tremosine and many other beautiful villages are waiting for you!
In the evening, at the end of the hike, a charming village will waiting for us to regenerate us with good food and a comfortable bed, ready to leave the next morning to discover new paths and new horizons!
The technical level required is not for experts but it is necessary to be fit as hiking time is 4 to 6 hours a day.

Climate: temperatures and weather conditions can vary significantly during the day, appropriate clothing and shoes are necessary. Hiking period from late spring to early fall.

Gargnano » Tremosine
Altitude difference: 600 meters over 18 kilometers
Second day of hiking, the longest in terms of kilometers but not in terms of elevation. The further north we hike, the steeper and more challenging the track becomes.
The lake is always beside us with its colors and light, making everything more beautiful and exciting.
Tremosine » Limone
Altitude difference: 800 meters over 14 kilometers
The second part of the tour is more challenging and the environment is more alpine. Today we will reach the most beautiful peaks overlooking the lake.
The view from here is of 360° including the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello glaciers. Let's enjoy everything that surrounds us, we'll think about tiredness later on!
Limone » Riva del Garda
Altitude difference: 900 meters over 13 kilometers
The first part is very pleasant and flat before the last effort to conquer one of the most panoramic peaks of the entire lake area. From the shore of the lake we quickly climb to altitude thanks to a steep and sometimes exposed path. A real alpine environment will make us sweat but the reward is great: welcome to one of the most famous peaks of Lake Garda!
From the top we descend towards the blue waters below to complete the last part of the tour along one of the most famous paths of the whole Garda area.
The end of the tour is scheduled between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. From Riva del Garda, by bus, you can easily reach the train station of Rovereto, served by high-speed trains, or you can return to Toscolano.

If you want to start from Gargnano on the 2nd day, you can join us the night before or in the morning before 9:00 AM.

Hotels/B&B with double, triple, quadruple rooms. Standard quality. You may share the room with others participants. If you want a single private room, tell us in advance (extra charge).
