Crossing the Brenta Dolomites
Elevation* +1100m/-1100m Length* 15km
After a hearty breakfast of homemade products and a superb view of the Val d'Ambiez, we resume our trip, which is initially easy and very scenic. Step by step, we climb higher and higher through passes, saddles, easy ridges, and rockier sections of the trail. We arrive for lunch at one of the most characteristic Rifugio in the Brenta Dolomites, where we have time to refuel and drink a coffee. After lunch, we move from the eastern to the western side, passing at the foot of "Campanile Basso", the iconic peak of the Brenta Dolomites and beyond. We continue on, passing some of the most famous places in Madonna di Campiglio until we reach our small Rifugio, known above all for its excellent Trentino cuisine. We are in the heart of one of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps, the view around us is magnificent, and dinner will make us even happier!
The second day is the most challenging both technically and physically. You need to be fit and not suffer from vertigo.
